专利摘要:
A vehicle headlamp is constructed with its reflector and front lens adapted to be fixedly mounted in the bodywork of the vehicle, but incorporates a beam deflecting system, in order that the direction of the beam may nonetheless be adjusted. In one form, the beam deflecting system comprises two Fresnel lenses, mounted face to face in a position to intercept the whole of the headlamp beam, one being equivalent to a diverging lens with cylindrical surfaces, and one being equivalent to a converging lens with cylindrical surfaces. In a neutral position, the effects of the two lenses cancel out, so that no deflection of the beam occurs. One of the lenses is movable in translation away from the neutral position, so that a deflection of the beam occurs, without any other change in the beam pattern. In modified embodiments, the stationary Fresnel lens is not used; instead, its effect is produced by using a reflector of modified shape.

专利说明:

This invention relates to optics and can be used in the manufacture of automotive headlights,.
The aim of the invention is to improve traffic safety by maintaining the structure of the light beam of the headlamp.
FIG. a schematic representation of the deflecting system with zero deviation of the light flux and angle deviation, respectively, is presented; Figure 2 shows similar diverting systems; Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of the profile of the optical elements of the deflecting system.
The optical deflection system contains two optical elements 1 and 2 having plane-parallel outer surfaces 3 and 4 and inner surfaces 5 and 6, respectively, on which a plurality of grooves of a prismatic profile are made with equal pitch and the same direction of the generator g. The angle of inclination of the faces of the prismatic elements varies from the groove to the groove by a constant value.
According to another embodiment of the optical deflecting system, the optical elements 1 and 2 have on the inner surfaces 5 and 6, respectively, the grooves of the vapor-vapor profile, calculated by the formula
 2P
where r p

about,
the refractive index of the material of the optical elements; Xp is the relative displacement of the optical elements; 56 is the deflection angle of the light flux.
The system works as follows.
When the mutual arrangement of the optical elements (figa) identical prismatic elements of the optical elements 1 and 2 are located opposite each other and parallel. In this case, the system does not deflect the beams AND, perpendicular surfaces 3 and 4. After the relative displacement D by a magnitude multiple of the step (Fig. 16) between each pair of grooves, an air trapezoidal profile layer is formed due to the different inclination of the faces of the prismatic elements, and the layers are identical for each pair of grooves.
As a result, all the rays R deviate by an amount oi, which is the same along the entire length of the system.
In case of making grooves with a parabolic profile with their parallel arrangement (Fig. 2a),
The beams, perpendicular to surfaces 3 and 4, pass through the system without noticeable diversion, since each optical element 1 and 2 deflects the light rays by an equal amount, but in the opposite direction. With a relative displacement D (Fig. 2b), the deflecting effects overlap each other, ensuring the deviation of the light flux.
The relative displacement of the optical elements 1 and 2 for the indicated variant always remains less than half of the step P.
I.
Figure 3 shows a section of grooves located opposite each other, made perpendicular to the direction of their forming g. The x axis denotes the direction of relative movement of D. The y axis denotes the central axis of the groove of the optical element 2.
At the same time, the optical element 1 is shifted to obtain the deflection of the beam R, parallel to the y axis by an amount.
